FloLacrosse welcomes Zak Raymond, a digital media professional, former Inside Lacrosse content creator and award-winning coach, as its lead content creator.

FloLacrosse is adding someone who knows the game from the floor, the sidelines and behind the camera.

Raymond brings more than a decade of lacrosse experience and a track record of building sports audiences through digital media.

The Canadian content creator, coach and entrepreneur arrives as FloSports prepares for the debut of the National Lacrosse League's 2026-27 season on FloLacrosse.

From Yardsale Lacrosse To FloLacrosse

Raymond's path to FloSports includes building his own lacrosse brand, producing content for one of the sport's established media outlets and leading marketing campaigns in combat sports.

In 2025, he founded Yardsale Lacrosse Club, an apparel and community brand centered on lacrosse culture. Raymond oversees Yardsale's content strategy, video editing, photography, graphic design, publishing and athlete relationships.

"My goal with Yardsale from the beginning has been to grow the sport of lacrosse, and my experience has proven that the fan base and community are craving transparency and people who are truly passionate about the game," Raymond said. "I believe there's a real opportunity to help shape the culture into something that is both profitable and enjoyable for the fans."

His experience also includes a stint as a seasonal content creator at Inside Lacrosse in 2025, where he produced NCAA lacrosse highlights, graphics, interviews and live social coverage.

Before that, Raymond served as head of marketing at Sanabul Sports from 2021 to 2025. There, he managed content strategy and covered UFC events, producing real-time highlights and short-form videos.

For Raymond, Yardsale has always been about more than building a brand.

More Than A Content Creator: Raymond's Lacrosse Career

Raymond's connection to lacrosse extends well beyond his work in digital media.

With more than 12 years of playing and coaching experience across box and field lacrosse, he has built a résumé that includes competitive playing experience and leadership roles at multiple levels of the sport.

Raymond played for the Whitby Steelhawks of the Arena Lacrosse League, a development pathway connected to professional box lacrosse.

His coaching career has been equally active.

In 2026, Raymond served as head coach of the Sackville Wolves U17A team, earning Coach of the Year recognition. He also led Team Nova Scotia's U17 field lacrosse and U13 box lacrosse programs.

His experience includes coaching Dalhousie University's men's lacrosse team in fall 2026 and serving as an assistant coach with the Jr. NLL Ottawa Black Bears during the 2025 championships.

A New Chapter For FloLacrosse

Raymond joins FloLacrosse at an important moment for the platform and the sport.

"I'm extremely excited to be a part of something new, to inject some life into the sport I love and am so passionate about at the highest level," Raymond said. "FloSports has a proven track record of backing sports with smaller, tighter-knit communities and fan bases, and I believe this will be an amazing next step for professional lacrosse."

FloSports announced an exclusive multiyear global streaming partnership with the NLL on Oct. 15, bringing the league's regular season, playoffs and marquee events to FloLacrosse beginning with its 40th anniversary season starting Nov. 27.

FloLacrosse will feature live competition alongside highlights, interviews, athlete profiles, behind-the-scenes features and year-round editorial coverage.

Raymond's combination of digital media experience and firsthand knowledge of box lacrosse aligns with that expanded commitment to the sport.

For someone who has spent years playing, coaching and building a community around lacrosse, joining FloSports marks another opportunity to bring the game to a wider audience.

"I'm most looking forward to covering not only the big news, but also the more exclusive storylines and nuances surrounding this NLL season and the individual players involved," Raymond said. "I'm extremely excited to help build up the players, give fans a closer look at the personalities behind the game, and tell their stories at the highest level."
